Use thick avalakki (beaten rice) for this
Grind avalakki coarsely. Wash and wet with water (texture should be like sand)
Soak and extract tamarind juice (in hot water)
On top of the soaked avalakki, sprinkle rasam powder, tamarind juice, salt, powdered jaggery
Heat oil, add rai, channa dal, Urad dal, dry red chillies, groundnuts, curry leaves, hing, haldi
Pour this tadka on top of the avalakki + other stuff (as above)
mix well
Roast together - methi seeds, pepper corns, til, powder, sprinkle on top of Avalakki and mix
Heat the whole mix through before serving
