Stuffed karela

Stuffed karela


Grate onions and ginger
Fry with jeers tadka
Add grated mango or amchur
When well fried, add garam masala (1/2 sp), dhania powder (1 sp), chilli powder, salt
Fry
Cool

Scrape karela, add salt and leave for an hour
Slit
Remove seeds etc till inside is hollow
Fill stuffing
Tie with thread
Either Deepa fry or just pan fry
